The “Red Button” method is by far the easiest way to get help FAST, anyone can do it even if they are untrained or unfamiliar with your radio. Using our advanced ALE network the Radio places a call through the best HFRC base directly to the RFDS Communications room at the RFDS Base in Pt Augusta. These operators are familiar with Radio Telephone calls and can quickly put the caller at ease and direct them as needed. The RFDS operator can also engage other services if needed without having to drop your call or call you back, They are Trained First Responders with the experience and modern communications systems available to them to get you help quickly be it for urgent medical, Aero evacuation or other issues which may befall the remote traveller. Most Codan NGT and all Envoy radios can get the Codan ALE option.
